The content of this website is for general information and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Studies describe groups, not the individual person. Whether EECP therapy makes sense in an individual case is clarified in a personal consultation.

Treatment success cannot be guaranteed. EECP is supported by controlled trials and guidelines for the treatment of refractory angina pectoris and stable heart failure. In further areas of application, such as long Covid and ME/CFS, prevention, sport or erectile dysfunction, the evidence is limited; treatment there takes place as an individual therapeutic trial after medical counselling on benefits, limits and alternatives. A preliminary examination takes place before every course to rule out contraindications. All services are billed privately under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ).
