EECP, stent or bypass?
Last updated: October 2026 · Cardio Pulse Berlin
EECP does not replace a necessary procedure. It comes before, after, or when no procedure is possible.

Does EECP replace a procedure?
A necessary procedure remains necessary. EECP complements it.
When before a procedure?
When symptoms are present but the procedure is not yet urgent. We coordinate this with your cardiologist.
When after stent or bypass?
When symptoms remain after the procedure. Treatment data from many centres, the international EECP registry, show an improvement over two years for these patients.
When no further procedure is possible?
In that case, the 2024 European guideline explicitly names EECP as an option.
How do we help you?
